Barn conversions

The Old Grain Barn brief was to extend a stand alone barn conversion with a recycled garden room windows, bedroom and living room block.  The living room is located on the first floor to exploit views down the valley.  The materials of the extension are to be industrial to reflect the surrounding agricultural buidings.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

                  

Shipston

We have recently completed a full architectural service on this rear extension project at a property in Shipston.  The client approached us as he currently had an old, leaking conservatory attached onto his dining room.  The conservatory had just become a unusable storage space.  After long discussions about the potentials of the house, the client decided on a single storey rear extension to replace the existing conservatory.  After agreeing a design, we sucessfully gained Planning and Building Regulations approval from Stratford DC. We prepared tender documents and the sucessful tenderer was Nick Williams of Willstov Homes. We project managed the whole scheme from inception to completion.

Listed Buildings

We have extensive experience advising and working on listed buildings. Our most recent projects include a 15th century cottage in Brailes, a converted barn in Tamworth in Arden, a cottage in Welford on Avon and Bitham Hall, Avon Dassett.

           

          

Welford on Avon

We have worked on an exciting domestic regeneration project in the idyllic Warwickshire village of Welford on Avon. This was a challenging scheme to provide disabled adaptations whilst respecting the original character of the property.  The planning officer required a heritage statement to be submitted to  support the planning application to ensure the new development was respectful and in keeping with the character of the site.  This project is now complete and the residents are delighted with the results

Weston-sub-Edge, Chipping Campden

We workied on a exciting renovation scheme, comprising of ground floor extension and project management of extensive internal a and external alterations to this rustic, characterful cottage, located in the peaceful Cotswolds village of Weston-sub-Edge. The project has been accepted for full planning permission by Cotswold District Council for a double storey extension to the side of the property. We have sucessfully gained Building Regulations approval.                    

         

Shipston

We worked on this residential project in which the client wanted to replace the conservatory with a rear extension to the property to create additional living space. A full planning application was submitted to Stratford District Council and was approved, we have now submitted the drawings for Building Regulation approval. Proir to submitting the planning application, we completed the survey and consulted with the client to create sketch designs for the scheme. This project is now complete!
